It's also a little weird that the Black sister's dad was only 13 when Bellatrix was born. Also kind of sick that Sirius' parents were second cousins. At least they weren't first cousins I guess... It reminds me of an iceberg, really. The type that wrecks ships. I think the reason behind the youthful marriages, intermarriages, and early parenthood is because many of the marriages were pre-arranged. Royalty used to practice this custom in order to keep their bloodlines "pure." And since the Black family considered themselves "royalty," it makes sense that they, too, would hold to this tradition. Then again, these could be misprints by Aberforth the Marauder. I'm also curious as to what killed the first Sirius when he was eight. "We could live in the country. (I can't blame them sometimes) It's actually a pet theory of mine that Sirius left home because he found out that his parents had arranged a marriage for him. (God knows he wasn't going to do it himself!) I remember reading one fic where someone gave the parents the names Arden and Elizabeth. Quite a difference between Orion and Walburga. I don't recall her saying that, but it wouldn't surprise me. I think I read somewhere that she found Hermione's name on a tombstone. Then someone else said it was from a Shakespearian play. I know some of the names she coins. Voldemort, loosely translated, means "stealer of death." Malfoy means "bad faith." There are many other examples, but I can't think of them all right now. I thought that I was the only one to look for names in the phone book. At first I didn't know that Draco was another star name. I guess that's just carrying on the Black traditon and proves once again that the Black women are domineering. I can see her telling Lucius that the boy's name will be Draco.
