I was thinking about this, and I just don't get how Dumbledore does it.

How closely do you think he manages the school? He seems to know every student, he finds time to monitor their actions, he does all this WHILE advising the ministry of magic and hunting for Horcruxes (which he presumably was doing throughout the books).

Time Turner? Is he just amazing? Or did he mainly focus on Harry and didn't know as much of what was happening in other student's...

Okay, I thought I'd open a thead to talk about some of the HP characters that we really, really, really find annoying. They can be from the books, or how they were portrayed in the movie, even.

Reading the sixth book. Irritated with the sixth book. I hate how nosy Harry is with Malfoy. I know it sort of pays off in the end, but SERIOUSLY--can't Harry just get a grip and pay attention to his own life for five minutes?

In certain books when the main character starts doing something stupid I always feel like I need to tell the character--hey, idiot, stop it! Harry tends to do this a lot. And always it's because he has this over-active gland or something that makes him...

3rd most powerful wizard

So well know that Dumbledore was the most powerful wizard in the world. And I don't think anybody would deny the fact that Voldemort would be the second most powerful wizard. So who is third?

I was thinking right before I slept (yes...I tend to do that ) and I thought that maybe Snape is the third most powerful wizard in the world (now the second most powerful). I was thinking that maybe it's Bellatrix...

All kidding aside, I'm curious as to why so many women consider this slimeball such a "hottie?" I mean, he's cold-hearted, cruel, bigoted, probably abusive towards his wife and son (who is turning out just like him). Why do women find this so attractive?

If you look at the Black Family Tree, you'll notice that Phineas Nigellus Black had a brother named Sirius who died when he was 8 years old. Any speculations on how he might have died? And what significance, if any, do you think this will have in Book 7.
