I'd never really thought of Sirius in the terms of Pink Floyd's music, but it makes perfect sense, since "The Wall" deals so heavily with the theme of prisons of the mind.

I tend to link him more with the music from the Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull ("Mayhem, Maybe" reminds me of the Marauder days), and of course with Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog."
